President Andrzej Duda , along with his Chief of Staff filed on Thursday in the Chapel of the Presidential Palace and laid flowers under the plaque commemorating presidential couple Lech and Maria Kaczynski, the last President of Poland in exile Ryszard Kaczorowski, and employees of the President's Office, who died in a plane crash near Smolensk on 10 April 2010.

 

The monthly observance of the April 10 Smolensk tragedy began at 8:00 am with Holy Mass and solemn placing of flowers at the cross commemorating the victims of the tragedy.
